Default [Q] HDD for Archos 70

There are HDD confirmed that work on the Archos 70??

In another topic someone said that the Samsung 200 GB 1.8 inch HDD worked .... then I took it and ... it does not work! Or something wrong or I do not know .. the fact is that for the time wasted € 100 so it is quite annoying ... So I ask you are confirmed HDD? Obviously the cable OTG have and when I connect to a HDD externally powered recognizes me without any problems ..

Thanks in advance

Can confirm that most USB powered HDDs ( if not all) will *not* work with our Archos, because the OTG port can only suppy 100mA (even some big USB flash drives fails)

Needles to say that a powered USB hub is a must. There's a couple of powered hubs that works with batteries (very few).

Another option is a battery powered HDD enclosure. (hdd/otg type). I've ordered this : http://www.dealextreme.com/p/2-5-hdd...tg-silver-1009

Will give a try and report the results.
Galaxy SIII - Returned to Full Stock (Thanks to Chainfire's TriangleAway v2.50) (Never leaves home... too expensive)
Galaxy SCL - RemICS v1.7 - SIII Look & Feel
Galaxy 3 - Stock with G3Mod Kernel ( My daily use phone)
Archos IT 70 - OpenAOS
SPV M600 G4 - IPL: 2.15.001 - SPL:2.G4.4PDA -WM6.1 Korand WWE 3.1
