Cool New ROM from India

Guess what! Defy released yesterday in India and it seems to be the one without Motoblur. Since a central european version cannot be used in India, there seems to be another firmware that Motorola came up with.
By the weekend I should have my friend upload the Deblured rom for us to use.

Well if 2.1 is still interesting for some that is.

Yes, I will need to teach my friend to make the backup and upload it from India. BTW seems like the version is called 2.52 . Sounds scary of it being unrootable and non-downgradable.

ok so i can flash sbf files even if the bootloader is 2.51?

if yes then what is the problem with 2.51 that everybody is advising not to upgrade?

the problem is always that you can't go back. unless you have a nandroid backup. any future upgrade should be fine.
