Request - Accelerometer fix

I only have one game that uses the accelerometer. It worked in 1.06 but not very well. Now I have Hig's 1.08. It doesn't work at all. The car drives to the right. If I check the Accelerometer for games box under settings, the car drives to the left.

I have seem people talking about fixes, but I have not been able to find the files here or on modaco. Can some one please post the fix?

More questions: How well does the fix work. Do most games work (Papi Jump, 3D Ball Labyrinth, driving games, etc)? Do I leave the settings box checked or unchecked? I heard the fix kills USB mice... Any fix for that yet?

Games that work best will be ones that calibrate themselves before you start

e.g. SpeedX

the accelerometer fix on Modaco should work, but it does kill usb mice.

Did you manage to get the accelerometer fix working with r8?
I've tried but wasn't successful.
