Default [Q] Difference between T-Mobile and international HTC

I'm looking at this phone in particular: cgi.ebay.com.au/htc-hd2-phone-2X-memory-fastest-NEW-OZ-warranty-RARE-/260726883438?pt=AU_Mobile_Phones&hash=item3cb48884 6e

Would it be able to run all the HD2 roms developed?

I wonder why he can't show an actual picture of one of the TMOUS phones (they have red and green call buttons)?

If assuming that they are genuine TMOUS, and that they are all working fine, then they should be able to flash Nandroid, WP7 and quite a few of the custom ROMs (the chefs should say if their ROM is TMOUS compatible).

The only real major concern is flashing a .51 RADIO - which will turn your nice phone into a rather expansive paperweight. If you are using a stock ROM, then check that it is for a TMOUS.

As for price and value, sorry I don't know enough to comment.

What do you mean by .51 radio? If it has that, would that mean I wouldn't be able to run Android on it (or possibly, only run it from an SD card)? Is it only T-Mobile phones that have such a radio? If I get the 8585, would this be of an concern?

I believe the T-mous version can only run the .50 radio... hence the analogy of expensive paperweight when you flash it with the .51 radio
