No RW access w avos_2.4.82_sysroot
Hello all,

I am using avos_2.4.82_sysroot on A101IT with FW 2.4.82 , but i am unable to update Busybox or su-bin.

/dev/mmcblk0p2 is used 78%, 26343 byte free

What could be wrong ?

Best regards,
Onliner09

The automatic updaters may make assumptions about how /system is mounted that aren't correct for this firmware. The superuser updater has worked fine for me, but I've had to install an updated busybox by hand.

Huum I don't know why, but my own firmware doesn't worked..

I compile with default option, no errors, i have extract new initramfs from the AOS file. but it doesn't worked, no boot.

Same thing with original 2.4.82 chulri's kernel and my 2.4.82 own kernel and chulri's initramfs.....

Chulri have you got any problem to compile it? I begun to thing that they have make lot of change in boot.

Thanks in advanced,

No - you will need to wait for chulri, or one of the other Archos Gurus to get some time to work on the new updated files - come back every few days to check, it won't take those guys too long :)

If you try it now, you'll end up in a boot loop! :P

I don't know, and personaly, i don't know why i can't compile a good kernel with 2.4.83 sources to share it.
I can't boot with my own kernel, the kernel extract from archos firmware....I haven't any pb with 2.4.82 sources WFT???

Is there Pb with Archos sources?
Anybody can confirm it?

Thanks in advanced!!
