Vpn 2.2beta3

I searched the last few pages of the dev thread and didnt find this bug. And since I cannot post in the dev thread I hope this is the right place.... is anybody else having a problem connecting to a vpn? Once you type in your user name and pass a couple seconds later it says disconnected from vpn.
Is there some fix or workaround I missed?

i am having the same issue since going to the XFree beta4 / cyanogen of 2.2. I never had this issue under any 2.1 rom.
