Default [Q] Android 2.2 -> Error 0X80070057 When transferring files to the internal SD card

Is there a fix for Error 0X80070057 ?

Here is what is all about: Rogers Captivate original software 2.1 -> updated through Kies to Froyo 2.2 -> unable to transfer files on the internal SD card above about 2.2Gb.

I am able to transfer files up to a total of about 2.2 Gb and then I get this error. No additional files can be copied.

There is a big thread on Rogers' community forum (I am not able to insert the link as I am a new member inhere but u can easily google it)

I called Samsung and they told me to call Rogers. Rogers said it is not their and to call Samsung. Stupid, right? Do all the updates from Rogers have this problem?

Thank you!

I'm experiencing a similar copying limitation. No solution yet. Rogers

Captivate with Froyo.

For now, I FTP'd the most wanted files off of it. I'll be reformatting /mnt//sdcard after I get the balance of the other files via FTP when I have more time.

Formatting has reportedly been used as a remedy for some circumstances.

I see my Win Vista 64 perceives the mount as a ~2.2 GB partition, which seems FATish. My phone thinks it's a single 16 GB partition.

any news on this? i am just having this problem now as well. its really annoying. i can get my files in and out by bluetooth, but that is just way too slow to transfer files around.

if there's no fix for this yet, is there any way i can transfer my files faster? please update me if theres a fix for this, or a workaround at least! thanks!!!
