Default How to change bootanimation?

Is it possible to change the default Samsung bootanimation?

From my quick reading the answer is yes. Basically you need to unpack zImage, add some file, change init.rc to use /system/bin/bootanimation instead of /system/bin/samsungloop and drop in the bootanimation.zip file. It's not very straight forward. Let me know if you want the details. I haven't done it but has gathered the method.

Could you explain further more. I am trying to do so in Samsung galaxy s but I don't know how

Get the boot animation you want, rename it to bootanimation.zip (if it isnt already) and move it to system/media then reboot.

Its as simple as that.
