Completely out of curiosity, but is USB Debugging working?
If it does, you (ares, that is) could potentially use adb to push the apk... just a random thought.

As far as I'm aware, it does not. In fact, I'm not getting anything at all. It doesn't seem like its getting any power either. Although that's because it doesn't recognize the battery.
I also attempted to push the apk via the built in terminal emulator. But whether it doesn't work because were lacking root, or because its not possible at all, I don't know. This is the first time i actually tried that.

You should be able to place the apk's on your memory card fat partition and install them from there with a file manager.

This is really awesome. I found my old BA and a 1GB micro Sd with adapter and I managed to get it running, but only when formatting and doing everything via Ubuntu. I really look forward to more updates on this :). Great Work d-two, keep it coming.
