[Q] Nookcolor just bought but with 1.1.0

Hi, I just bought Nookcolor and I found 1.1.0 already installed.
Furthermore, serial # starts with 20052*

Could you show me the best way/steps to have it rooted?

Had a customer come to me with one. After force powering it off during boot 8 times it formatted its self to 1.0.0 then I just held the N & vol+ while powering it on to erase the data partition and it booted to 1.0.0 for him.

I would start with iomonsters rootpack and flash the nookcolor-1.1.r2 rom which is a prerooted rom

If you have adb setup on your computer you can install Froyo to an sdcard, boot from it, copy the 1.0.1 system.img and boot.img to the sdcard then using adb
adb shell dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
adb shell dd if=/sdcard/system.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5

From there you can autonooter for root.

P.S. if the above seems like foreign language to you, I highly suggest you don't do it. ;)

It seems that 1.1 is still unsupported by IOMonster

If you flash the 1.1.r2 rom its already rooted
