Thats the reason the phone gets hot. It got to the point where I had to put a SetCPU temp profile at 39C instead of my usual 44C to downclock the phone to 550Mhz with a ULV.
When that only worked to little effect, I HAD to use autostarts to disable every instance of GoogleServicesFramework.
And then I installed the previous RC3. And I had the new additions from the 3/4 release as well the ones from the 3/2 release. Meaning, I had the profiles and media scanner fix, and I had the 3/2 googleservicesframework.apk which wasn't buggy or resulting in memory leaks.
I don't understand.
The googleservicesframework.apk is closed source and not part of the CM ROM, it's part of the google apps package. Therefore there is no 3/2 version of googleservicesframework.apk.
Also, the installation of CM update.zip first performs backup of google apps, then complete format of system partition, so it's irrelevant what system version you've had installed there before.
Older versions of OpenRecovery had a bug which prevented successful format of the system partition, that's why I strongly recommend to use the 1.46 OR (or Androidiani OR 3.3 or later that is based on 1.46 OR as well).
In the case of issues, the first thing I would try would be to clear the Google Services Framework data in settings - application management.
Btw., my phone currently got to the 5% battery level after 2 days and 8 hours (56h) of moderate use...
