Can somebody help me with this? I also can't access to root explorer even after I had pressed root in the open recovery.
Well, from what ROM did you come from before you flashed CM7? I'll assume you have flashed the vulnerable recovery, as you have access to Open Recovery.
I don't know what's wrong with your setup, so, if you did flash the vulnerable recovery and if were working with any other 2.2 ROM before, I'd simply wipe data (do a backup first, of course), cache and Dalvik cache and then I'd reflash CM7 and Google apps.
I came from CM6 and as I wasn't so sure that everything would work OK if I just wiped cache and Dalvik cache, I did just that: wiped data / cache and Dalvik cache and installed everything again. It isn't that bad if you backup the necessary data (ex.: using Titanium).
Let me know if you could solve your problem.

Good luck!
Yup, i came from CM6. I wipe data, dalvik cache, then flash this cm7 preview but didnt restore back any data. Guess I'll have to try flash everything again. Thanks.
Its such a good ROM!
Fast, Snappy, Responsive! So far, perfomance to me is way better than CM6.
Only problems are, some games are not working with the ROM? Some Gameloft Games are not working.
After using it for more than a day...i have had atleast 5 kernel panics. dmesg output shows a lot of dsi errors.
Especially i have seen that, panics occur when i browse internet over wifi. I know that this is more of a kernel issue and nadlabak cannot do much about it...But still if some parameters changes which might result in less of this, then it would be great.

Not sure what everyone is saying about smooth. This build has been extremely choppy in performance for me, much worse than the CM6 0.07 build that I've now gone back to.
I had this exact problem also. I looked around in my phone and found that the overclock was not being enabled or used for some reason. I fixed it by manually editing the 10overclock file, since I like my Milestone running at 1Ghz anyways, and just applied the script. My linpack score went from a 7 to 13.5 after.
Now I personally am experiencing two problems, The first one is that the Google Talk application keeps creating a notification that authentication has failed. Sometimes it's a couple times within a few min, then it goes a couple hours without making one. I also can't launch Google Talk from the launcher, it just sits indefinitely at the sign in screen.
My second problem is that my market won't open anymore. It worked this morning, much better than on CM6 in fact. But later this afternoon I tried to open it and all it does is open to a white screen with the loading icon spinning for about 4-6 seconds then just silently closes. I tried clearing the cache on the market, etc, but that did nothing. I will try later to reapply the gapps update and see if that straightens it out.
Otherwise, as an alpha, this is awesome. Great work Kabaldan. Ironic that we have 2.3 before Motorola even gives us their official 2.2.
I tried it for almost two days so far and since an hour ago i start experienced a panic kernel, like the whole system freezes and i have no other choice than remove the battery!
Anybodyelse???

Ok , is this dangerous for the device? ?????
I mean is it risky to stay suffering kernel's pannic??
Could you screw it up???

The overclock on mine was fine. Linpack was about 12.5 by default, just scrolling in menus, LauncherPro, transitions were all choppy. General responsiveness wasn't better than CM6 so back I went. :P

All games work fine for me. I have over 70MB memory left after using a taskkiller. Gameboid, psx4droid, NOVA, Asphalt all work fine for me.
