Exactly what are the major advantages of GB over Froyo? I ask this because I am debating going with this ROM or waiting (maybe forever) for Moto release of Froyo

CM7 not have the options to customize notification colors like CM6? I not found...
Notification led not blinking by default too, need to setup they in CM settings, otherwise the led only stay on all the time.

I have a problem with my sms's - message notification does not come up, and i dont get a notification at all... i have to go in handcent to see if i have sms...

also i cant seem to keep in memory either LP or ADW... Any ideas?

Well, AFAIK, on CM6 I think there is an option called "lock messaging app in memory", this should change the permission to -17 where the system will not kill the messaging app/service.. I'm not sure about cm7 having this option though but I guess thats the problem when a memory intensive app causes the system to kill the messaging app..
