Arrow Sideload Wonder Machine - Essential App Install Program - No Rooting Necessary

Posted originally on Android Central, many thanks to Jerry Hildenbrand for his invaluable work:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/and...e-v-1-2-a.html
Instructional Video here: http://www.androidcentral.com/sidelo...wonder-machine

Install instructions:
1. Install the latest version of HTC Sync, do not run it but install it for the drivers if your OS doesn't automatically install them: http://dl4.htc.com/managed-assets/su...tup_3.2.10.exe
2. If you do not have Microsoft .NET 4 framework installed, you can find a direct download from Microsoft right here (Most computers already have this installed but try this if you are having problems)
2. Restart
3. Download the Sideload Wonder Machine
Directly Here (see below attachments)
4. Unzip entire folder anywhere on your computer
5. Connect to PC and set phone to 'charge only' or 'disk drive' and turn on debugging mode on the phone
6. Now run the AC Sideload Wonder Machine and select the file to be installed
7. Follow the easy prompts and that's it!

Takes a few seconds to install depending on the speed of your computer, Works rooted or not

Note the Linux and Mac version can be obtained here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/andr...onder-machine/

According to nickmgray on another thread:

"I don't think the demo unit I have will be a good dummy for this test. For some reason the phone I have DOES allow app sideloading. I've been in contact with a few others who have received the demo unit as well and mine is the only one that allows this."

So in short, Yes.

Got it working... I'm not sure exactly how but I put android SDK and HTC Sync on my computer. After that it recognized that I had a device connected and I installed an akp. I think it was the HTC Sync that did it for the drivers I was missing.

This is what Im talking about everyone, this phone is likely going to be rooted at or before launch like I foretold.

We look forward in hearing from you in regards to this. Many thanks for all your hard work and 'sharing the wealth' like I say.
