You can't install Xbox Live titles.

Suggestions for your next version:

Fixed width column headers with wrapping text

Support drag and drop of XAP files onto the main window

Allow association of XAP files with the app to trigger a one-off install with saved settings.

Okay I spoke too soon. It looks like it now refuses to sign XAPs. It worked for a couple of titles, and took some time (1-10 seconds, I believe) where it said "signing" for each app, then "installing", etc, and worked as normal.

Now, no matter what XAP I try, it fails. The app status flashes briefly through "status" (perhaps a tenth of a second, just enough to see it) then moves to install. The log indicates that it can't sign the XAP.

Connect() :: Connected succesfully
SignXap() :: Signing xap...
SignXap() :: The entry you specified was not found in the zip archive.
InstallApplication() :: at Microsoft.SmartDevice.Connectivity.Device.InstallA pplication(Guid productId, Guid instanceId, String applicationGenre, String iconPath, String xapPackage)
at .( , Guid , String , String , String , ListViewItemCollection , , Boolean  ,  )

edit: I think I figured it out. The XAP files were malformed zip files. I re-created them and they were installable.

Phone marketplace update?

Hey, used your app for the past month now, and noticed, I actually don't get a sign that of my programs need to be updated, yet most of the software (Latest one I saw was Police Scanner which I had v2, but marketplace had vrs 2.1 for the past week or more) my phone never told me there was an update avail for it, I mean, Marketplace normally shows a number next to it's icon on my phone, but I no longer get that...

Is this normal? Or did I forget something?

This looks great, going to have to give it a go tonight.

sideloaded apps aren't installed through the real marketplace, so the real marketplace has no knowledge that you have it installed, thus, no update notification
