[Q] USB Debugging with USB tethering

USB tethering worked fine for me in the past but recently when I enable the USB tethering option, it'll disable itself after a few seconds. I've found that if I disable USB debugging it fixes this but since I use USB debugging quite a bit, it is a hassle and I don't think that I had to turn it off before. Is there something wrong with my configuration? I'm running gingerbread and I've tried CM7, Amethyst and Oxygen and they all have the same behaviour.

didn't you find a hint in the logs? this would be a starting point to debug
