Ghost Armor and Install Q

Hey I saw Ghost Armor sells the screen protector for the nook color for $15 now and they have a cart in the malls in my area and was thinking of putting them on.

Has anyone used Ghost Armor with the nook color?

Also, i was a little worried about installation, normally you remove the battery, but the battery isnt removable in the Nook color it seems so would that be a problem? How many hours of off time would be recommended with so much area for water to get in on a huge screen?

Not sure I haven't tried them I bought a screen protector from Barners and Noble which seems to be fine so far.

I had my Nook done all the way around which is $30 and it is awesome. The fact that you can change out the Ghost Armor anytime you like after some wear an tear for $10 is great. I'm pretty ocd with my phones and gadgets and have used ghost armor on all from the day of purchase. I always end with a like new device when i'm ready to swap for something new. Also installing yourself is a pain in the ass and usually ends in disaster, so definitely have them do it. The Barnes and Noble screen cover sucks in comparison.

Since devices have gone to glass capcitive displays I dont bother with screen protectors. I have not manged to scratch any glass dislay I owned. But I did buy a used ipad where someone managed to scratch the glass. For the body I like protection, all my devices always look new when I get rid of them too.

In regards to soapy water installs, I have done a few with non removable batteries. Its never been an issue. I try to be a little sparing on the water and try to blot up any drops around the edges very quickly. Most devices have a very good seal around the edges because they don't want dirt and oils getting between the touch layer. It is scary the first time, especially when its a 3G 64GB ipad. I have not seen the NCs screen edges and the bezel does look loose but I would not be afraid to do mine. Just give it over night in a dry environent before you turn it on again. I do prefer the harder plastic screen protectors that go on dry, fingers and stylus' don't drag but they do get scratched and have to be occasionally replaced. For me, I like my screens bare naked.
