Default Welcome to the Advent Vega Forum

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Advent Vega forums. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Will Verduzco (creative forum name, right?) and I've been assigned as the moderator of this forum. The Adam seems to have a lot of potential, and with an aspiring dev team, I see great things for this device.

In order for the dev team to thrive, however, the development section needs to stay clean and tidy. Obviously it is my job to ensure this, but I ask your help in the process. Please make sure you post in the correct sections.

-Only ROM Development, Hacks, Mods, Fixes, Reference, and Tutorials go in the Dev Section
-All Questions and Requests should go in the General Section.

Also, if you see any thread that is in the wrong section or if you see any questionable posts/content, please don't hesitate to click the report () button.

Pretty much, everything in this forum is already in the right sections and seems to be running like a well-oiled machine, so keep up the good work.

Thanks for your help, and more importantly, have fun!

Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever seen any. Actually up until just now, I had never heard of the Amico before. Sorry.

I think it means he got bored with them and he changed them for something better and new, like:
Google Nexus One --> Google Nexus S
Nook Color --> Motorola Xoom

Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 Android OS v4.0.4 (AOSP):
ROM: Slim ICS v4.2
KERNEL: Semaphore ICS v1.3.0s
MODEM: I9000XXJW4

Point Of View Mobii 10.1" Tegra (3G) (Advent Vega clone) Android OS v4.1.2 (AOSP):
ROM: VegaBean Beta 6

Haha! Yes, upgrade frenzy. I also have a galaxy tab 10.1 silver and have had an iPad and two Viewsonic gtabs. I'm addicted!

I installed VegaComb 3.2 and it's definitely the best Rom yet. Excellent job! The only problem I'm having is with my keyboard add-on. It worked with Paul's 1.09 Rom with the USB switcher, but is there anyway to get it working with VegaComb 3.2, as it's not being recognized when it's plugged in.

Thanks
Steven

You need to put Vegacomb into USB Host mode by holding the back button down during boot up.
