you can use:

adb dumb /system C:/venuedump

then a folder will be created on the C drive called Venuedump

You can zip it and then upload it to rapidshare or megashare

Sorry, the command was wrong in my previous post

the right one is

adb pull /system C:/Venuedump

I get error: closed

Stupid me. I didn't have USB debugging turned on. Dumping now.

Edit: Dump completed. Uploading now.

You are totally right. Right now, I am trying to convert this system dump to an update file to restore my bricked venue. If you can help me with instructions on how we can convert this dump to an update file, this will be really appreciated.

i will give it a look at and see

if your dv is dricked you will need the Upgrade.pkg in order to restore it and i do not think that is something you can make from a system dump
