VZW 3g mobile app

Does anyone know how to get the vzw 3g mobile app onto fission? I tried using wireless tether and it keeps knocking me off after 5-10 mins and is much slower compared to the stock app.

Just extract the apk from an official rom and copy it to /system/app using root explorer.

Well you're going to want a stock rom on hand. Use long press in root explorer (or similar app) to unzip the 3g mobile hotspot apk. Then copy it to your phone.

You mean to have the nandroid backup or actually go back to stock and then access the system files?
Humm, so i see, all the apk s are stored in the system folder. So for example you prefer to use the blur phone app, then you delete the one from your rom and change it for the blur one?
