Default Flash Droid 2 ROMS on your D2Global

Not sure if they're going to make a thread here or not, so I'll share.

See the thread here:

http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dro...et-r-done.html

Looks like you flash a D2 ROM, and then flash it with another "patcher" that makes it work on your D2G. Sensors do not appear to be working properly, so those do NOT work.

Again, see the thread for details.

This is great! Now our d2g's have more roms to choose from, and it should make it a lot easier for devs to port their roms over

Yeah, the Get R dOne guys have a dedicated site for the D2G, I signed up just yesterday. It definitely is looking more positive. I have started to get withdrawals from not flashing roms after being on the Eris for the last 2 years.

i just flashed liberty 1.5 using their method and it works!!!

there are a few bugs, like the sensors not working, but besides that it runs perfectly.

Get R DONE team said : I flashed a rom that would not let me boot back into Clockwork recovery (gummyjar). As of now, I don't know how/why that would happen so be careful, and do not do this unless you are comfortable using the SBF released by TBH.

As far as I know, Liberty was based in gummayjar. Could you check if your phone can boot back to Clockwork recovery?

I did, I only flashed it to see if it would work and after that I booted in recovery mode and restored a backup I had made. Just make sure you have droid 2 bootstrap

As far as I know, the themes should work.

Liberty toolbox, however, is smart enough to know that you aren't really a D2 and wont let you download the themes, you have to manually download and flash them.
