"Look, let me explain something to you. I'm not Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or His Dudeness … Duder … or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing."
Wow, it's amazing how my last few posts have just been totally ignored and buried in all of this... SMH...
Anyways, to update (for anyone paying attention): I flashed 4/7/11 and for the most part it's running okay. However, I did get a random reboot this morning, and am still getting the blackened portion of my wallpaper after leaving an app or whatever... I'll see if I can replicate that part and get a logcat...
Edit: added a logcat. But i'm not sure when the screen thing actually took place...
Wow, cus I didn't realize you were asking for help. I had assumed you were good on your own and just posting an FYI kind of thing.
Anywhoo, I can't help. It does look like a low memory issue, or perhaps an issue with graphics, but I've never had that issue (or at least not long enough that I noticed it). If you can duplicate the issue with relative success, try doing a logcat capture through ADB to a file on the drive and unplug the phone or CTL-C right when it happens. That way it will be at the end of the file. (I assume you do logcat via ADB anyway, but I do know there are apps on the Market just for getting logs). Other than that, I don't know of a way to get timestamps or such into the logs... HIH somehow...

Don't quote entire huge posts just to post some stupid one-line comment like "flashing now lol!"
Want to say thanks? Don't make a new post just for that... HIT THE BUTTON INSTEAD.
Keep your sig small. Nobody cares about your speedtest.
Keep your posts on-topic
Doing these things makes sifting through your garbage posts that much easier for people like me who actually do try to use search.
