If I get through all this will the sound work?

Well, i was not able to reload the original radio, but after the rooting i loaded the rom that attn posted and i have sound and everything is functional

ATTN1, Daly, Beer, thanks for your patience. I finally got it all working, rooted,sound, and new radio. So far so good. For everyonelse, serioulsy check out their irc channel, very active and everyone is cool about helping. Thanks again ATTN1.

I've tried everything and I can't get it to install. I appreciate all the work attn1 put into this and and I appreciate all the questions he answered. I am just going to wait for a more streamlined method. Thanks Again

It's as ironed out as it's going to get. the scripts work if you have made a proper gold card.

Maybe It's me but I'm truly lost and I hate feeling like a noob. Where can I find instructions on this. I downloaded and extracted the ace kit but not sure where to start.

Boy I wish revoked supported the desire hd

I just ran the 2 adb commands under part 55 RESTORE THE SHIPPING RADIO FIRMWARE

**Side note the bottom cover (that covers the sim and sd card) has to be on. It completes the antenna. Um, lets say I found out the hard way lol

asked in irc and figured out to just drop the .sh from the command (hackerize-ace.sh setup-radio). Got it installed now. Thanks
