Question I think I know the answer, but should I do a hard reset on my newly rooted D2G??

Reason being, I'm getting quite a few FCs with LauncherPro and K-9 and even though I have AdFree, I'm sometimes getting ads on Widgetlocker Lockscreen (which I don't recall ever having ads, especially since its a paid app). Plus my phone freezes every once and a while and I need to reboot.

Any tips or suggestions??

I guess another option is to bite the bullet and get Fission, but my concern is this is a "work" phone and I will need to unroot and revert back to stock when I'm done with it and I'm a rooting and ROM n00b and I don't know how simple all that will be.

BTW, I already have a NAND backup and app and data backups with Titanium and MyBackup Pro/Root.

Well - try to delete caches first (from stock recovery - delete cache). If this doesn't help, problem could be caused by a combination of applications you use. You can go with hard reset and reinstall everything to see if behaviour will change. If after hard reset and fresh reinstall phone keeps doing this, try to remove app by app until you figure out which one is the "offender". It is usually combination. I would start with Widgetlocker Lockscreen if I were you..

Thank you! I uninstalled WidgetLocker and ran Cache Cleaner and let me see if that works. FYI since I posted this originally, I had to uninstall K-9 because as great as it is and as much as I miss it, the FCs were increasing.

BTW are there a known issues with WidgetLocker Lockscreen??

Thanks again!
