Trial And Error...
I Don't know what i'm doing, so i don't recommend anyone trying what i am doing here but i'm just trying different things out, waiting for Dexmod 1.4

but i decided to experiment with my A7 and see what i could come up with. I wish i had a USB A-A cable so i could test and experiment a little more, but I was trying to use the newest Firmware from 2-24 and get access to Google Market. What i found in my experiment somewhat actually worked, but some things did not function as they should.
What i did was i extracted the Update.zip files from each the 1.3 dexmod, and the 2/24 update from elocity. I used the system.img from dexmod, and used the boot.img and recovery.img from the firmware update, and compiled them back into a new zip and flashed back to my device. When the update was done flashing, I had Both bluetooth functionality from 2/24 and google market with success.
What did not work:
My SD card kept trying to mount but did not successfully mount, and Access to USB Thumb drives also did not work, so i flashed back to 2/24 stock update to get my usb/sd functionality back.
I tried reading through several different forums on how to add google market 2.2.11 via market.apk, and google services framework, also tried an update.zip with market, but each update i tried said couldnt find .bin, and was trying to load it from usb, but could not get it to work on just the firmware update alone, so if i ever get a usb a-a cable, maybe i can experiment more and learn how to do different things with it.
I currently have Eclipse installed and waiting on standby, and i've launched 2.2 AVD and messed around with it a little bit, but did not see any system, recovery, and boot.img files from within the avd? all i found was cache, snapshots, userdata, and userdata-qemu.img files and hopefully someone more knowledgeable about this can help me out, in figuring out how to either edit these.img files from within windows 7, or help me figure out how to work with eclipse and avd to port market to our A7.Like i said, I'm new at this and some of what i did may sound incredibly stupid, but the only way to learn is by experience sometimes. i know this is in the wrong section (could'nt post in Development section) for that i appologise, and hopefully someone with experience in the ways of android could give me some helpful advice.
Thanks,
Jeremy
