Bump! might this just work? I understand the concept but since im still new to android I dont know if i should try to brick my phone with this ><

You should definitely try it ... and let us know how it goes. I understand your hesitancy, but one would think that you couldn't brick it via this procedure if you couldn't root it via this procedure.
