The only "word going around" is 2 blog posts, one by a blog no one has heard of who cites a "source at Best Buy", and the other one Android Guys who cite themselves as the source. Seriously not buying any of what either is selling.

Droid attic, android guys, droid life... They all have the same "source" from droid attic saying some dude heard from some dude in a conference call. wtf. As I've posted on other android forum sites, It's no different then some random person posting and saying "My uncle who works at Best Buy Corporate just told me it's delayed til the end of March! IT'S SUPER OFFICIAL!". It's comical that they even posted it! Some gadget news sites they are, good god.

Awesome new ad video + Atrix release pushed up + ads everywhere + blackmanx and Verizon's twitter saying 'February' and 'Sooner than expected' + Best Buy RSS systems matching up nicely + Thunderbolt plain as day in next week's Best Buy ad + Screenshot of Purchase Order to a Verizon store with 2/23-24 on it = next week release for the thunderbolt.

some sites desparate for some hits at the last moment. They know verizon is hush hush about this and they wont open their mouth.

It is even more sad that anyone can post comments on those blogs or whatever they are called. Full of crying bloody murder for something as small as a date change of a rumor. I hope people here aren't like that.

Until I hear from Engadget, I shall wait with my hands folded neatly and enjoying the end days of my Eris and GB.

It should read "would be sooner except the typical 30 day test we do to throw everything off from last approved os revision"

i think its true i looked at a sports illustrated mag dated the 21th nd it was in there saying available at verizon nd best buy
