Question [Q] New to Smartphones ... Inspire could be my first

I am new to Smartphones as I have a dumb phone currently. I am looking to upgrade it to a Smartphone like Atrix or Inspire 4G.

Couple of questions...

1) which one should I get Atrix or Inspire? I don't have any experience with either Moto or HTC.
I read that Atrix has encrypted bootloader so future OS versions will be a problem unless Moto releases them first. So does Inspire win in this case?
I am quite capable of understanding custom roms and dev stuff if needed

2) Is Motoblur better/worse than Sense?

3) I have a $15 dumbphone unlimited data plan so when I upgrade I will have to get 2GB data plan. So my question is will 2GB data suffice for general usage/streaming and NOT tethering?

I currently tether my iPod touch to the phone and use 1.2-1.4 GB per month for streaming/email.

4) Also the price currently for Inspire is $100 cheaper than Atrix which is good for me.

Thanks.

2GB is enough for most folks. That will handle all your browsing and e-mail needs. You could probably throw in 1-2 hours of Pandora/Slacker a day and still be fine.

When first setting up the phone, use WIFI for your app DL's and initial sync setup. They add up pretty quick when starting from scratch.
