Hi all,

Flashed to 2.3.4, no big issues so far except the 2 minor ones below.

1) Can't seem to take screenshots anymore by holding the 'back' button and pressing home button.........Only be able to do it on the main screen as everytime it takes me back to the home screen once the home button is pressed (while holding down the 'back' button)

2) On my Titanium Backup Pro, it detects AngryGps as 'not installed' and I can't seem to Reinstall or Uninstall it. Refreshing the app list still shows the same. However, tested my GPS and it's still working. Not sure why or what AngryGps does.

Anyone can help on the above? Much appreciated and thanks guys!

Really? I wasn't expecting that. If so, I will have to update first

New question: Does anyone know a PC software or Android app that allows me to backup everything from the phone memory (SMS, contacts, apps, definitions, etc) so that I can restore everything after updating? (The SD doesn'te need to be backed up because it is removed before the update)

Yeah I've seen that, but I don't know if it is the best option. Does the free version allows me to back up all the phone memory? And is it quick?

Force close error
I flashed the latest 2.3.4 GB update on my Ace and I'm stuck with a stupid Force Close error message.

"The application Software update (process com.wssyncmldm) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I had used Restore all apps+data (but not System data) option in Titanium.

What could be the problem and how do I resolve it?

Hi,
Goto manage applications, Software Update.
Then press Clear Data.

Did that. Wow, awesome! It worked for me.

Strangely the FC error was appearing only upon reboot. It used to flash the message like 2-3 times, but not causing any other issue.

Also, saw this post at another forum. Tried wiping the cache on two successive re-boots, but the problem still persisted. Thought I should still post it for other's benefit. You never know what works for you!

Turn the phone off and go into recovery mode (press volume up and the center button and then power and hold all down until it enters recovery mode) wipe the cache and try again, if it still doesn't work go back to recovery and do a factory reset.
