Question [Q] Where is the "allow unknown sources" in Artix?

My Atrix does not have allow unknows sources so I cant install apps which are not from market. How do I fix it?

UPDATE: Got it fixed. I need to root it because it is ATT phone...

You need to root your phone first. Have you done that?

Yes I have rooted my phones in past, all of them. I never knew that I need to rrot them first to Allow unknown sources! I think this option was enabled by default in my nexus one and nexus S. Please correct me if I am wrong.

AT&T blocks that on their phones, so you need to root to enable

At&t puts that block on your phone. :P Only at&t.

In AT&T there is no "Unknown Sources"

please, use AC_SWM.exe from androidcentral.com to do it!

I had the same problem with my Atrix. I just rooted last week using SuperOneClick and I've been trying to figure out why everything still seemed to be blocked. I just found Gladiatrix, which worked great! It enabled sideloading (gives you that extra check box in settings>applications to allow unknown sources), and also gives you the option to install the tethering package crack. Enjoy...
