Change homescreen buttons

Hi there!
I'm a noob in android, so sorry my noob questions...
After root, what do i need to do to change the homescreen buttons in xperia x8?
So it looks like a normal android homescreen or htc sence homescreen?
This 4 corner homescreen is horrible!! :S

i guess you want to change the homescreen
just go to market and download 'Launcher Pro'

So all i have to do is download and install adw or launcher pro and it will change the buttons? i hate those corner buttons... i prefer like in LG or Samsung or HTC... but in the corners NO!

Yes just install launcher pro or ADW launcher
I use launcher pro. I hate that 4corner UI too..!!

you can update to a custom rom too(i dont recommend it to you because you said you are a noob, but is a way to change those horrible corner icons)
