[DEV][UTIL]App to Kill the Mediaserver

Here is an app that will kill the mediaserver. The mediaserver will automatically restart. If you nook is running kind of sluggish, then use this to see how much CPU it is using. I wrote this for Nookie Froyo 0.6.8 and I don't know if it will work with anything else, but it shouldn't hurt anything if you try. It also allows you to see the PID of the mediaserver, reboots the nook, view mediaserver's CPU usage. Let me know what you think of it. If the demand is there, I will make it into a package. Must be a rooted nook! Let me know what os this works with.

I just tried it out and it works well. Much easier than copy/pasting that script into the terminal emulator!

It would be cool if it could be automated to automatically kill on a timed basis like once every 1/2/3 hours or whatever.

I needed this with phiremor nook Beta 2 to kill audio when I quit YouTube. The Kill Mediaserver option did the job.

The phiremor nook Beta 2 froyo uses a nice looking virtual keyboard. I am new to this, what would I have to do to install this with your SD card version of froyo?

Just thought ide add to this I'm on the SGS2 i777 and it works on cm9

Is this for the MediaScanner or the MediaServer or are they both one in the same?
