Default [Q] Tethering not working

Greetings,

This morning I attempted to tether using my Mobile Hotspot and I am receiving the prompt to contact AT&T because my account is not setup for tethering. I have rooted my Atrix and it was working fine yesterday. I'm using the APN in http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=193

I've tried restarting the phone a couple times, but still to no avail.

Anyone else experiencing this issue or have any ideas of what to try?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Are you sure that APN is selected in the settings menu? Also try rebooting.

Verified I selected the proper APN in the menu and rebooted my phone. Goes to validating account then Account not set up for Wi-Fi hotspot.

I deleted the APN
Then recreated it from scratch from the values I listed above and it appears to have worked.

Not sure what happened, but glad to have it resolved.

Similar here. The phone went onlkine to verify, said to call 611 to enable. Did the same after rebooting. Now, next day, it works.

Maybe something reset in AT&T's batch processing, which takes place after midnight?
Damned Atrix!Damned Motorola!Damned AT&T!Damned Google!
