reset screen calibration?

hello fellow hero users
a friend of mine has a hero but the calibration seems way off
mos of the times when he touches the screen in the middle and then the notification bar comes down:S
even if he tries multiple times it does it 10 times in a row
i think the screen calibration is off but not sure as i rooted it and put tastyginger on it(as the phone whas still default) but the problem still persist
i did a factory whipe and cache and the dalvik before i flashed it.
will that all make a new touchscreen calibration?
if not how can i make new touch screen calibration?
otherwhise i have to restore it to default and send it in for warranty?
or do you guys/girls think it wont be coverd by warranty

seems like it has to go back to htc

can someone give me a link to the default recovery as yesterday i put amon ra recovery on it:-o and only unroot wont take it away i guess

anyone know how to reset x-y sensitivity?
I've got problem when play falling ball, the man run to the left when I let my phone lies in table ....
