Default Visual pattern replace PIN when using fingerprint

Ok bad title i know, what im asking is is it possible to replace the use of PIN when i have the fingerprint scanner enabled? Currently if you have fingerprint scanner enabled it makes you use your PIN if you use not to swipe your finger.

I would love it if instead of PIN i could use the Visual Pattern. Idk how possible/not this is, but it would be great if able.

You can enable the pattern lock, by setting it. The secondary unlock method is determined by what the user set last (pattern/PIN).

Whoops - I misread the above post, but the same works. I had the same problem with the pattern lock, and ending up switching back to the PIN.
