[Q] Root Explorer won't read system as R/W

I am rooted and ROM'd via the hack kit, using attn1's inspired_dhd_vfr series ROM. When I use Root Explorer, I can mount the root as R/W, but when I go to system, it goes back to read only and pressing the Mount R/W button has no effect. I want to edit build.prop but it will not let me.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!


[UPDATED] - updating Root Explorer fixed this, if anyone else has the same issue.

i had a similar problem, I uninstalled root explorer, and superuser, reinstalled both, and was good to go after a reboot
