So what do I do next?

My sister has just bought a LG GT540. She has rooted it with z4Root. (I only had the phone for 5 minutes now)
So does this give a recovery or do I need to install a recovery? If I have to install it, how would I install it?
Because she wants to flash different ROMs and make the phone faster and overclock it.

And can anyone tell me how to get into Recovery, Fastboot and other stuff.

Sorry, I'm used to HTC phones and the Sense UI

i recommend you to use this guide, but instead of 2.2.1 - cm 6, you flash mur4ik ROM CM7, is better (very fast- i am not using overclocking, there is no reason)
