Question [Q] Led Notification ?

Do you think that Samsung will put an Notification LED in this phone or will be omitted like in SGS1 ?
This is a very useful and cheap HW addition and should not be missing from any phone.

Nope there's no status LED.

Not really a deal breaker for me. There's still vibrate, and notifcation sounds. Can always just turn the screen on and check messages if you were away from the phone for more than 5 minutes.

don't be so sure that there isn't one... nobody can tell until we the handset in our hands or at least a reviewer that can be asked about it.

i don't care that much about it though. my desire has an led and just flashes for 5min after a missed call. Kinda defeats the purpose if its not flashing all the time until you check it.

You might have discovered this already, but for all those that might stumble upon this thread:

There is a great alternative to a dedicated notification LED: BLN
BackLightNotification uses your SII's capacitive 'hard' buttons, [MENU] and [BACK], to act as notification LED's whenever the need to notify you appears.

This feature is implemented in a number of kernels; DreamKernel and Siyah I know has them (Check for the option in ExTweaks).
