GETTING GPS TO WORK GREAT
Download GPS STATUS from Market and don't open it.
Go to: Settings - Personal - My Location
Enable: Use Wireless Networks
Click: GPS configuration and enter the following
NTP server address: north-america.pool.ntp.org
SUPL server address: supl.google.com
SUPL port: 7276
Click OK
Now go outside where you have a clear view of the sky in all directions.
Open GPS STATUS
Click Menu
Choose Tools
Click Manage A-GPS state
Click Reset
Let it do it's thing until where you see "Fix/Sats" - gets a fix on anywhere from 4-9 satellites and it will display your Latitude and Longitude.
Bam! You're done. Open Maps and enjoy the goodness.
If you don't get a very quick lock in Maps, go to: Settings - Programs Tab - Manage Applications - All - Maps - Force Close - Clear Data - do the same for GPS Status and repeat instructions beginning after NTP Server was set.

I found that simply long pressing on the entry in the market and clicking "Update" works on other ROMs where this problem occurs.

Others posted this issue with this kernel on the CM7 thread but it worked for some as it did for me.
I am not getting a lock in miui either so I will look into it as well as try flashing other kernels as they are developed since source was released now.

I had to install an alternate gps.spade.so in /system/lib/hw to get GPS working on CM7. I'm guessing it's the same for this too.

You can see the file CM7_RC1_gpsfix.zip near the end of that page.

Everything is working great so far. I wish muiu didnt look so much like iOS, but is a very nice alternative os to use if your bored of sense or aosp. Great benchmark numbers too. Im getting 45+ mflops & quadrant score 2100+

well i actually found a problem with the muiu rom, my pc wont see my phone in mass storage mode, so i cant transfer anything from my pc. I set it to ask which mode when usb is plugged in, and selected on the same setting screen to use mount sd card instead of charge only and still nothing. My pc would always see my phone in mass storage since ive had my inspire so its not on my pc end. Anyone else have this problem?
