Hi...

I'm newbie...

It's perfectly working... just done the backup ...

1 question... can i save the backup folder to pc because it take a lot of my 2gb sd card..

Sure!
You can do this by copying the files in "sdcard/xrecovery" to your pc

It Doesnt Even work for some firmwares.Dont try this method.Do the manual.Bricked my phone and had to sent to repair cos backup doesnt even come up

The App works!
xRecovery Installed...
Now backing up my stuff.
* Using E15i * SE Rom 2.1.1*
But i tried all other methods... So possibly remnants of other methods added on.
But it works! Unlike the other methods...
UPDATE: CYANOGEN MOD Installed!

Im using sony x8 with kernel:2.6.29 built 2.1.1.A.0.6
I've installed xrecovery.apk and push 'instal xrecovery' button....
But when i reboot my phone and push back button several time when the screen show 'sony ericsson' text,it doesnt work at all
..
Please help

Hi, I have a E15a rooted with SuperOneClick and busybox 1.18.4 (from market).
After click on 'install'(xRecovery), the 3 icons apper as error.
chargemon: can't create '/system/bin/chargemon': File exists
busybox: can't create '/system/bin/busybox': Read-only file system
xrecovery: can't create '/system/bin/xrecovery.tar': Read-only file system

any idea?

problem solve. busybox installer have 2 options for where to install.
default, sbin doesnt work.

i dont know whats busybox. so installing it is like a safety precautious ?

anyway can u tell me what a busybox does
