Default Now that you have a Xoom, is a dual-core phone needed?

I was all set to get the Optimus 2X mainly for gaming. Now that I have a few Tegra 2 tablets I no longer feel the need to game on a smaller screen. What you guys think?

I think tegra 2 is great for phones but terrible for tablets. Tablets need at minimum a powervr sgx540 clocked at 300mhz like TI is going to offer with its OMAP4430 dual core.

I have had an ipad and an epic4g for awhile, and you eventually play games on both. You aren't gonna take the tablet everywhere with you.

go get a psp or (MAYBE) w8 for SE's psp phone, it is never the best choice to use the phone as play station.
yes you can play games on smart phones to kill time, but i dont think it is a good idea to use the phone just for gaming.

I love playing games on my Vibrant. Cant do it since I got the GTablet and now the Xoom. My eyes are thanking me for not straining them as well.

U can't be serious. Do you have a xoom? The I pad is a paper weight compared to the xoom. Grab a xoom and play monster madness. Its a ps3 ported game and runs flawless.

First of all, the iPad is a year older than the Xoom. It SHOULD be a paperweight in comparison. I dont get all of you guys who keep flaming on the iPad when its a year old and the iPad 2 comes out TOMORROW.

Second of all, I said what I said because the Tegra 2 is USELESS to me for video. Its less powerful than my 6 month old phone, and less powerful than my year old iPad. Now that you have read this, go back and read my comment to understand why I said it.
