Default Icons and Statusbar

After some digging I have found the files associated with the status bar and every icon on your phone.

/system/framework/framework-res.apk/Res/

Sent from my from my rooted 2.2 no bloat Zio using XDA App
Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch
Running whatever ROM looks good at the time

I used Uninstaller for Root to backup the framework-res.apk and temporarily bricked my phone because the phone didn't know what to do without it and was able to recover by updating my phone and keep my apps but no root at first. I will attach the framework soon after I remove the bloat again.

services.jar & associated xml files is where the magic has to happen for a "blackbar mod".
I do plan on taking a crack at it for us Zio people. my time to tweak and break stuff is kind of limited, so I'll do what I can, when I can
