Lightbulb FolioMod 1.4 -> WiFi problems

I encountered a lot of problems with WiFi and FolioMod 1.4
Signal lost al the time when browsing or while using the MarketPlace.
Tried tools like "WiFi always on" etc, but these tools made things even worse.

Then I decided to install the WiFi patch for FolioMod 1.3d
V1.3+ old wifi driver(1.0 release) works better for some ppl. (Requested by many) and now everything seems to work fine!

I made a clean install from 1.3. meaning i wiped everything and installed 1.4. IMHO, i think wifi is better in 1.4. connects much, much faster. no signal loss at all experienced till now.

I did the same.
First did a factory reset, then installed FolioMod 1.4, then another factory reset.

Hi,
Some of the problems with Wifi in 1.4 is caused by the fact that the driver is reporting a higher signal strengh than it should, resulting in several failled attempts to conncect at too higher speeds.

Regards

I totally agree. At home, there is a place far away from router. When there, it takes an ethernity to connect, and fails on DHCP IP request.

But when at least it get connected, I experience much more hangs/resets than when nearer. It's very annoying. After applying Wifi older patch, things are better, but still hangs when wifi is not clear.
