You gotta use cf-root, rooting apps don't work in gingerbread. If you have P1000L/N, make sure to use humberos cf-root.

so if I understand correctly I should just load odin and push the zImage_P1000N_Voodoo_V4 ( I will unrar the the file zImage_P1000N_Voodoo_V4 to get the *.tar ) by putting it on PDA ticked and repartition un-ticked right ?
