[Q] Facebook App

Instead of setting up facebook as part of motoblur, I simply wanted to install facebook app and let it sync with my contacts like I had it on Nexus One.

However, when I go into accounts, I see 2 facebook icons, one as part of motoblur and other under "Other accounts".

Only the motoblur facebook account setup works, the other one does absolutely nothing. Tapping on it yields no results.

Is this intended behavior or am I missing something?

Don't know much about this yet. I'm currently using the installed app that's on the Atrix, will let you know more further, just bought the phone last nite.

Im not sure whether yours has a problem or not but I've been using the Android app since day one and it has worked fine. I haven't used the motoblur facebook but I imagine it's not too different.

I just didn't like how the motoblur facebook app synced and the regular facebook app doesnt set up appropriately. I guess I'll try uninstalling and going it again.

Did you stated you installed the actual facebook app? and setup the atrix facebook app before hand?

ok I just installed the FACEBOOK APP THROUGH ANDROID MARKET, tried to SIGN IN, and stated "AN ERROR OCCURED......" but when i signed in a few times, it let me in, it could be a server issues, but I'm in and working. Try to sign in a couple times.

Did that, it worked, but now it doesn't show up under my accounts within settings. This is definitely broken.

Yea that is broken then, try to uninstall and reinstall the program.
