Enter Subsidy unlock code

I got my unlock code today, but don't have another sim card to put in yet. I thought there was a command that could be entered that would cause the phone to prompt for the subsidy code. Anyone know that sequence??

How & where did you get your Unlock code from?

I got my sim unlock code from calling at&t, bt the box to apply it was no where to be found, so your prompt in dialer helped me to , it brought up the box, then i put code in, and it said the code was successful, but it still wont read my net 10 sim card, that is active, tried rebooting....what else can i do??
