It's always a pain putting those on though. You can never quite get it to look as perfect as the pictures show, unless you get one of those Indian guys from the mall to put it on.

putting a $20 skin on plastic back that will be a $10 item seems silly. I bet we see $10 back covers all over the place soon.
Samsung Captivate - rooted
iPhone - jailbroken

I haven't received my phone yet, but I am thinking about putting a BestSkinsEver skin on the back. I realize the back will probably be sold on eBay for $10 at some point, but I hear the phone can get a little slippery and the skins add just the right amount of rubbery tackiness to keep the phone from slipping out of my hand.

Having a lot of experience in this subject (see link in signature), I can go ahead and tell you that if you don't have a lot of experience, you won't get that skin to wrap around the corners and edges properly and make it look the way you want it to. Good luck, but it seems like throwing away money because you sure won't be satisfied with the results!

Its easy to get on. Cut the backing down the middle, then tape the other end to the phone. Then remove the half of the skin backing, then the other. And any wrinkles just heat with a blowdryer and its perfect.
