Default [REQUEST] Clear Individual Notifications

Is it already done? Is it possible? I want to be able to clear unwanted mess but still keep a reminder.

Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
LG Optimus G - rooted

I know exactly what your talking about. As far as I know this feature has not been added to any ROMs or any of the software that Htc, Motorola, etc. put overtop of android. However, I believe that Honeycomb does have this feature in the new action bar so it's possible that the next version of android, Ice Cream Sandwich, will have this feature as well.

Awesome, thanks for the info!

But could it be done without implementing it into a ROM?

I use this app every now and then to remind myself of things. It will allow you to place an ongoing notification permanently until deleted. The paid version allows for multiple notes.

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but maybe it will get you by for awhile?

CyanogenMod allows you to do this, I think since late cm6 days but it might be a cm7 thing. You can swipe right to clear individual notifications in the notification pull-down. Is that what you were looking for?
