The videos made me worry alot!, the phone is lagy and there's moment the phone freeze for a seconds!, too much like the last video in the 2nd part, just like 1st Galaxy.

I'm afraid if the bootloader is locked, that's will be the deal-breaker for me and i'm going to cancel my preorder.

any clarification.

Yup, the device is a prototype and not the final product therefore shouldnt be taken serious.

Even during the showcase in MWC the phone was laggy, but the devs need some challenges...

The SGS ii will probably be another unpolished diamond, like SGS.

I don't believe Samsung would do the mistake of locking the bootloader after the SGS success. They read XDA and they know what people think about Motorola.

DONATE TO ME
As long as it's as hackable as the original SGS, I'll buy it.

Iphone 3G > T-Mobile G1 > Samsung Captivate > Samsung Focus > Samsung Galaxy SII> Nokia Lumia 920 > HTC 8X > Sony Xperia ZL
...and a bunch of other phones in between

Another unlolished diamond? Honestly, I think that the companies are alall stepping their game up and bringing more to the table.

With more emphasis on mobile computing, these companies know that they need to be better and faster at lreleasing new stuff. The Galaxy S 2 will be their flagship for a while anand if it goes to multiple carriers like tgr first, it will be great.

I agree with you, but when I said "another unpolished" I was refering to the SGS.
It was a great phone on arrival and it became even better after the devs/Samsung optimized everything.

That's why I'm not worried with the lag we see on SGS ii. It's not a market version and even if the market version is not polished, we're here to do it.

It would be great if the international version was adopted by at&t, creating a giant SGS ii community.

Now that Apple is moving its production from Samsung maybe their lag between announcement and market is reduced.
