Default What's wrong with today's industry?

Optimus 2x was announced on 16-th dec 2010 and now in mar 2011 is NOT AVAILABLE!!!
Same is true for the rest - Atrix, Samsung G2...
Paper anouncments, with Mont's of NO availability???

I am talking about - announce and availability. Take for example Videocards - Nvidia announcing 580 (for example) and it is available in a week.
Optimus is available in Korea - great, but i am living in EU

Never mind, obviously i should stop reading announcements other than from stores

Precisely my thoughts. I'm getting jealous of Apple users who get their device a week after announcement. It is extremely annoying when Samsung announces a phone like the Infuse two months ago and doesn't speak a word of it since, with no release date in sight.

I am happy for those of You having it available in their regions. Unfortunately here earliest dated quoted is 21-th of march and i am not sure it will be met

Look at apple (i don like their product, but should admit their trend setting abilities) - announce on 2-nd mar - availability on 11-th!

I know it's not fun having to wait, but I would rather have to wait a few months for a phone instead of buying a current generation phone a month before the next generation is released. Knowing which phones will be released in the near and far future makes it much easier to decide when to buy a new phone. The improvement they should make is make the release dates clearer. I still don't know when the Galaxy S2 or 2X will finally be released.
